The International Hospital of Zambia (IHZ) has announced a landmark investment of over USD 100 million over the next five years to significantly enhance its healthcare delivery.
IHZ Board Chairperson Shashank Mehta announced the official commissioning of new, state-of-the-art medical equipment at Fairview Hospital on Thursday, 18 September 2025. The ceremony was officiated by the Hon. Dr Elijah Muchima, Minister of Health.
This significant financial commitment reaffirms IHZ’s unwavering dedication to advancing the Government’s healthcare agenda. The investment aims to ensure that Zambians have access to world-class medical services within the country, reducing the need to travel abroad for specialised treatment.
